Matthew 25:29 (NLT)

To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who are unfaithful, even what little they have will be taken away.

God gave each one of us gifts we must discover, treasure, and develop. Our goal should be to use each one of the gifts and talents God gave us at some point during our lifetime.

How do you discover, use, and manage every gift? First, you discover what your gifts are by asking

Spend Time Alone with GodMark 1:35 (NLT)The next morning Jesus awoke long before daybreak and went out alone into the wilderness to pray.

Praying before the day began was a common practice of Jesus. He often went alone to pray, just to be with His Father. By being with God, He got refreshed, renewed, and strengthened to continue His mission. Jesus gave us an example of how we canaccomplish our mission here on earth.

Each one of us has a mission appointed by God that only we

The Gospel of John records the story of a man who had been born blind but healed by Jesus. The Pharisee’s questioned him about how he could suddenly see. He answered and said, “A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, ‘Go to the pool of Siloam and wash.’ So I went and washed, and I received sight” (John 9:11 NJKV).

Notice the obedience in this man’s attitude. Jesus said, “Go.” The blind man said, “I went and I received.” That simple act of obedience

Faith that Passes Human Reasoning

“And when he was come in, he saith unto them, Why make ye this ado, and weep? The damsel is not dead, but sleepeth” (Mark 5:39 KJV).

There were times in Jesus ministry when He didn’t allow unbelief around Him. Such was the time when He went to raise Jairus’ daughter from the dead. He took with Him those that would believe that Jesus is the Anointed One who raises the dead.

Those who will believe bypass their own human reasoni

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds); Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

- 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

If you think like the world thinks, eventually you will act like the world acts. Unrestrained thoughts produce unrestrained actions. So control your thoughts by bringing them int

Faith Gives Action to the Power

Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?(Matt. 17:19)

In Matthew 17:19, the disciples asked Jesus why they couldn’t cast the devil out of the boy. They were troubled because they had been casting devils out and ministering successfully to others. So why couldn’t they do it this time? It wasn’t because they didn’t have the power, because they did.

Jesus gave it to them in Matthew 10:1, and they had been mi

For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?

- Hebrews 12:6-7

There's a terrible misunderstanding among believers today about God's method of disciplining His children. They'll point to some kind of disaster—a tornado or a car accident—and say, "I guess God sent that catastrophe to teach us something."

No, He didn't! A loving God

Shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid.

- Romans 3:3-4

Faith-filled words. That's what changes things. They'll move mountains into the sea. They'll turn sickness into health. They'll turn a sinner into a saint.

They'll also take a sin-ridden nation and turn it into God's own country. That's right. Then, if we believers would back up the prayers we've been praying for this nation with words of faith instead of doubt and discouragement, we'd soon

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: she shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.

- Proverbs 4:7-9

If you really want to get the wisdom of God, you'll have to do more than casually read the Scriptures a few minutes a day. You'll have to feed on them night and day. You'l

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household?

- Matthew 24:45

The Word tells us that God shows Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are "perfect" toward Him (2 Chronicles 16:9). That word perfect doesn't mean that we have to do everything just right and live without making a mistake. Thank God, we don't have to do that. It means "devoted"—a heart consecrated, dedicated, loyal and faithful to God.

The mistakes we make will

No More Dying to Do

But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

- Hebrews 2:9

Death. It’s not a popular topic—even among believers. In fact, a great many are just plain scared of it. Oh yes, they talk about having eternal life. Yet when the devil tries to threaten their earthly survival with sickness or calamity, they panic.

Why? Because th

Hebrews 13:8-9 (NLT)

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. So do not be attracted by strange, new ideas. Your spiritual strength comes fromGod’s special favor, not from ceremonial rules about food, which don’t help those who follow them.

God doesn’t change. He is the same always. His word doesn’t change either because it is Him. Jesus is the word of God made flesh. The truth is always the truth and the truth will set us free.

The world is full of false doctr

The Anointed Word

Growing Up In the Love of God

“But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ” (Eph. 4:15 KJV).

God wants the church of the Lord Jesus Christ to grow in the area of walking in love. And I encourage you today to let God’s work of love flow through you so that His will is done in the earth. Jesus went to the lower parts of the earth in order for the love of God to be manifest in the earth.

Vive la Différence

If one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

- Ecclesiastes 4:12

There’s power in unity. The devil knows that. That’s why he’s continually fighting it. He takes the differences between us, differences God put there to make us stronger, and tries to use them as a wedge to drive us apart.

Take men and women, for example. He’s deceived us into fighting about which one is superior to the othe

Be Willing!

If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.

- Isaiah 1:19

A healthy body. Enough money to pay all your bills and extra to invest in the work of the gospel. A godly marriage and happy, healthy children. Peace of mind. God has prepared a banquet full of blessings for you.

But those blessings are not just going to fall in your lap. You must be willing—as well as obedient—if you’re going to eat the best from God’s table.

So, be willing!
